Pensions Dashboards
Central to our ambition – to ensure individuals have the information and confidence they need to make financial decisions across their lives – is the transformation of how people engage with their pensions.
The Pensions Dashboard Programme (PDP), led by MaPS, is designing and delivering the governance, standards and digital infrastructure required to underpin a world‑first pensions dashboards ecosystem. This architecture will securely connect thousands of pension providers and schemes with government systems, enabling them to exchange data through a single, standardised network. By bringing together workplace, personal and State Pension information, the ecosystem will, for the first time, allow individuals to locate and view all their pension entitlements through a unified set of services.
Importantly, the dashboard will act as an information and engagement tool rather than a transactional platform. It will not provide financial advice or facilitate product sales; instead, it will present clear, consolidated data and signpost users to impartial guidance and regulated advice where appropriate. By integrating with our broader MoneyHelper guidance offering, the service aims to move people seamlessly from awareness to understanding, and ultimately to informed decision‑making about their retirement planning.
